Default 754cc injectors for the street

Right now I'm running this size injectors in my '96 GS-R. It is a stock B20/VTEC controlled by an AEM EMS system. Since I won't be running over 10 psi on this stock block (til I rebuild my old GS-R block again) is it possible to tune these squirters low enough that I won't be running rich all the time? Or should I step down to 550s?

That's what I thought also. A local tuner around here urged me to swap them out for smaller ones. From my experience and seeing many setups on here with big injectors running on the street, I always thought I'd be fine.

I am running 75# injectors at only 10 psi. I think that works out to 756cc. Not sure though.

i run 880's with no problems..... well, at least there won't be once the guy with the 01 prelude that got dogged by an STR4 comes over.... anyway, i've seen 1200's dialed back enough.

yeah i'm running 880's as well. No problem here either, it starts up and idles like a stock car. I'm using uberdata to tune the injectors. And gas mileage isnt all that bad. I just have to do more part throttle tuning to get better gas mileage.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by DC2 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">How your guys' gas mileage? </TD></TR></TABLE>

I get 27mpg and that is beating on the car. I am putting down 306 at the wheels.

Yes they are msd injectors.

750s take a little more time to tune, anywho, gas mileage is dependent strictly on the tune, I street tuned my car to be mid 11's at 15 psi, but when its not in boost is anywhere from 15-17:1 and thats good for like 30 mpg

btw,, i went 11.56@126 on bfg's

^^^same. I wouldn't worry about 700's, they should work just fine. I have the 1000's in my daily driver and it idles just like stock and gas mileage is like 26-28mpg.
