7-8 psi with stock injectors?? is it okay?
UNTIL I have the money for Hondata and RC 440cc, would it be safe to run a DRAG kit at 7-8 psi on a GSR with AFC, FMU and FPR? I know that I should do it the right way the fist time but my wallet seems to disagree for the time being. I just wanna know if this setup will work for a few months until I can afford the Hondata/RC combo. Thanks guys. You've all been a great help lately in answering my turbo related questions.

Agree. 7psi max. That is what I am running on stock injectors.
At least for a little while longer.

All the people I know that boost have stock injectors. One friend was running at 15 pounds with the stock ones. He was using the mf2 though......get some prelude injectors

Uhh, the MF2 controls additional injectors, so he was not running "stock injectors" in the sense we intend it.
After 7psi on stock injectors (12:1 FMU rise rate), fuel pressure becomes intractably high.
Nothing above 7psi on stock injectors, it's just not gonna work for long.

those injectors with the MF2 are usually 550 for diesel apps, thats is an additional 1100cc of fuel or just over the total fuel of stock teg injectors combined and they can be run at 95% for a couple seconds as they only kick in after a few punds have already ben boosted.

I've ran my car up to 13 PSI with stock injectors and a 12:1 FMU! Ran it like that for over a year.
When I boosted past 10 PSI, I could smell fuel, fuel leaking from the fuel lines because of the really high fuel pressure.
So it should be no problem 7-8 PSI.
