Injectors question
yeah i wanted to know if i could switch out injectors and i would get a start up with the same tune? everytime i press the gas it lags a little so im pretty sure its the injectors and i was alredy running lean,
im using DSM INJECTORS 450cc & im looking to upgrade peak n hold injectors (same) just more CC's could i do this with no problem? or would i need 2 retune

no offense but what do you think?
bigger injectors are going to dump more fuel = you will run rich on the same tune. depending on the size increase of the injectors, the car MIGHT start but will probably drive poorly. basically any time you change something that effects air, fuel or timing it is wise to get a retune
have you confirmed that you are running lean? meaning measured it with a wideband? rather than guessed.
also be patient. you post twice with 2 hours expecting answers. you probably could have searched and found the answer for yourself already

its running rich due to injectors that are going to **** so i needs to replace them DSM FOR THE LOSS so im tryna upgrade with new and bigger injectors
if the afr drops (less fuel) when you press\stab the throttle it could just be the throttle pump map that is wrong...
bigger injectors will requier a retune, but change in the "base pulswidth" (make of ecu will determine what it's called. motec calls it IJPU, vi-pec calls it master and so on.) and the retune will be quick.

If your tune is letting the O2 do its thing under light load, you will at least be able to drive it to get it retuned. You will have to keep the same size though.
One issue is that every injector brand/style has different characteristics. Heavy pintle DSM's require a larger pulse width at idle than in boost vs some other injectors, for example. They also have different characteristics basd on battery voltage and fuel pressure.
Honestly I think its something other than the injectors. With the changing weather, it could be your tune (wasn't tuned for all weather), or it could be your plugs, etc. Generally when a DSM injector fails, it locks open or shut - which will be VERY noticable.
