just curious about this. if it would be okay on 87-91 octane etc...
if its okay, i was thinking about waiting to get my 12:1 FMU and DSM injectors when I get my intercooler..
otherwise..i will purchase the FMU and injectors today
thanks again!,

If you run stock injectors, you need an FMU...period.
12:1 FMU on stock injectors is common practice.
If you have a way of controlling those 450cc DSM injectors, you will NOT need an FMU. The VAFC hack or SMC+ will do the job just fine.

Yes, that will work. Keep the boost at 5psi or less until you get better fuel management. You also absolutely MUST have an inline fuel pump or your motor will go boom.

Save your money and get an SMC+! Way better then any FMU, and cheaper! You really don't need a fuel pump or anything else other then the 450's. Very easy install and works magic . It is amazing the simplicity and size differencr from the safc and smc. Unless you want Bling bling, go smc!

yea, i was reading about those the other night! no bling bling! just a powerful little tuning tool for sure! and not very expensive at that! i think it was only around $110 or so. Also, since im getting an IC/RC 550's and a hondata in the summer, should I just do ghetto radiator hose (2.5" from like a semi or something you can buy at napa or checker) for my turbo charge piping (well, all the way up to my AEM CAI.
thanks guys!,
