4032 Mahle for my power goals?
My block will be going to he machine shop next week and after I find out what size I am going to need to bore, I will be ordering some new pistons. So I have been googling 4032 vs 2618. I now know the differences. 4032 have higher silicon content, less thermal expansion, longer life, etc and the 2618 are stronger, I will have piston slap on cold starts, etc. (did my research but still have a question).
My question is, will the 4032 Mahle Powerpak cut it for, lets say a max of 350 whp (starting goals for now are 250 whp and going to move up as I see fit) or should I just order me some 2618 pistons (whatever brand I want) and call it a day? I have made threads in the past and my goals are track racing and maybe some autox (I want to start working on getting full competition license when car is done). My build if it helps answer the question:
B18C GSR
Supertech springs/retainers/locks, Ferrea valves, Eagle H beams, GTX2867R, Mini ram, Victor X, stock or near stock compression pistons after I decide which material....
Thanks again Honda-Tech!

Re: 4032 Mahle for my power goals?
Ok thanks. I know the price difference is small for 2618's, but I the 4032's seem to fit me build better since I will be driving it on the street too and just wanted to be sure I wouldn't have to worry. Thanks again for quick reply!

Haha I always get excited seeing people use that turbo. Its the same one I plan on using for my setup. Shooting for 400whp and 250wtq @ 8500rpm on my ls head.
Btw im using srp 10.7:1 4032 piston in my engine. Im running kinda big p2w clearance (.004ish iirc) due to the engine being built for boost.
There is a very mild piston slap when its cold, but it goes away once its warm
