Default b18c1 rebuild question...

What up,

I'm looking at buying p30 (jdm b16) pistons n rings for my GSR..My question is i can either get stock bore or OS pistons. I would like to keep it the standard bore, but when putting new pistons in a black arent you suppost to hone the block?? and wouldnt doing so make the bore bigger?? Basicly my question is: do i HAVE to get the OS pistons if i honed & cleaned the block?? or could i still get the standard size??

thanks alot

Yea all b series vtec pistons are interchangeable!! The purpose of me doing so is to raise my compression. it should take it to around 11.5-11.6CR

you dont need oversized pistons unless you are going to bore the motor
