4 Extra 10mm nuts in bottom end

Default 4 Extra 10mm nuts in bottom end

So i have 4 remaining 10mm nuts from my bottom half.

2 are on the oil pickup
and 7 nuts for the oil pan

where else are these supposed to go?

despite what you may think. Not every question belongs in the FI section.

BTW Not to be an ***, but If you dont know where some bolts are supposed to go in a bottom end. I highly suggest you let someone else have a crack at building it.

its build already with proper clearances
i could use an extra pr of eyes.

What motor are you talking about? B-Series has 9 oil pan nuts 2 oil sump nuts and 2 windage tray nuts. This makes 13 total nuts, so that would account for your 4 nuts you left out being that you only used 9.

8 bolts for the windage tray

there are no studs or places for nuts.

what am i missing

Thats exactly what I was basing my numbers off of. My B16A has as this... You can see all the studs besides the 2 that are for the windage tray they have nuts on them in the picture.

i know what happened
my machinist most likely removed the studs when he bored the block

thats where the missing studs went

Actually no, only 2 go on the windage tray. He has a total of 4 missing studs. That would leave 2 more in the oil pan, but either way he found it out.
