I've ran a 250hp worth on a b-series with pretty good results. I only ran it on the street tho.
You must have "everything" on the money with that kind of shot.

I dont think that is very bright at all. you can run stock with that size shot, make sure you call me when you try that I would love to see that grenade blow!!

Near what rpm did you want to start spraying, at the lowest the motor will be from the downshift?
People do 500 whp on stock gsrs, right? So how big of a difference is there between n2o and forced induction? Higher in cylinder temps/egts? Since n2o has a higher % of oxygen vs nitrogen than normal air, I would assume it would burn significantly hotter.. (that's how a torch with a gas and pure o2 gets so hot)
In for info..

I'm not really sure what is offered for the K's, but whatever Norris, Keller, and the other high hp K-heads run I'd follow suit.
Any reason for teh naWZ over boost?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I have been doing all kinds of homework on this and it hasnt come up with much results on high sh shots, I am choosing to go with nitrous JUST because I dont want to deal with turbo lag.
I got a buddy with a 630whp ek and is running 10.5 and my cousin is running all motor at 260whp running 10.8's i just figure that nitrous is the wway to go

I would start the spray outta the hole, I would love to see a STOCK gsr push 500hp.
There is a HUGE diff, between boost and no2 the boost has turbo lag
To lower the temps i would run 118octaine race gas to lower them

you didn't really answer my questions..lol
What rpm? And what are the differences inside the motor with the nitrous vs boost? Peak cylinder pressure, combustion temperature, egt, timing to reach mbt, etc.
And I have no info on this, but I suspect 118 doesn't lower your cylinder temps, at least not by much, mostly just your knock threshold.

At the track...there is no turbo lag. And turbo lag is traction control, gas milage, and just the nature of it. It's totally worth the wait.
I call BS on those numbers, 260 netted me an 11.9 in a 2300 lb car, your cousin would have to be 1400 lbs to do that haha He may have a bunch more power, what was his trap, and what was the EK's trap? That's the real dyno</TD></TR></TABLE>
its a 1600lb with him in the drivers seat 26in tall slicks tube chasis 92 gsr
we ran it today!
what do you e mean by trap?

Boost is always there.... Leave with anti lag = No turbo lag Boost is just a downshift away. But if you want a serious nitrous build then go for it, its your car
What chassis and motor is your friend with the 260whp running 10.5's using?

Now...the 630 whp EK, what tire was he on and that was a street car? It's dead on for 140 mph in about 2400-2500 lbs of car</TD></TR></TABLE>
its just for the track, It was on a 24" slick.. were in the middle of changing that to 5 lug and then hacking the fenders and the front end to make a 28" tall 10" wide slick fit in there, its got full interior no weight reductions to speak of though

its stuck right about 134 due to lack of traction
thats the reasoning behind going with the 28s

the car roughly weighs 24 with driver, I would rather have a tire that i couldnt spin that you could dump the clutch at 8000 rpm and dead hook
