Default 3 inch Downpipe problems..

Alright guys... Im havin a bit of a problem

Ive decided, after trying to buy a 4 bolt 3 inch downpipe, and not being able to find one on here... that Im going to have to build a custom one

now my problem is finding a flange that allows me to get a 3inch downpipe to my garrett t304e...

its a 2.5 inch exhaust outlet.. so i dont know how im gonna find somethin that I can use to make it go to a 3inch...

any feedback or help would be greatly appreciated

Why not just use a 2.5" 90 off of the turbine, then use a 2.5" to 3" reducer??

Edit: the reducer backwards of course......

And I assume what you are saying is that if you tried to use a 3" bend right off the bat it would be to large and maybe obstruct the holes to mount the dp on the turbine housing??

That lets you hook up a vband connection for your downpipe. That is a slick piece.

You should go with a 2.5 inch>3 inch because it gonna suck trying to bolt it done with the 3 inch pipe. I can only tighten 3 out of 4 bolt since there is no space to tighten the other cause it at the bend.

V band is highly recommended tho, it so easy to take off and put on

we used a agp flange and just welded u the 3 downpipe to it. We did have issues with the bolts not being tightened down because of the welds, but after some grinding, they fit perfect!

Vband is definetly better! i wish i would've went that route. I have to remove the turbo, manifold, and downpipe to install my EGT probe and its going to be a PAIN IN THE ***

Vband is definately a sick setup, I just did the 2.5 90 and then went to 3 on my DP though and I have plenty of room to tq all my bolts so it is an option if you prefer the less expensive route.

But if I had it to do again, I would rock the Vband setup just for the ease since my stuff comes out and in often.

spend the few extra bucks and buy this. i did, its completely worth it. 2.5" to 3" vband, then just weld the 3" vband right to your downpipe. it makes aligning the downpipe, fitting it on there and actually taking it on and off so easy its amazing. before this i was struggling with alan head bolts and i could only get 3/4 on there because of the downpipe bend, blablabla. this solved all my problems
