Boosting stock b16
Is it reasonable to have a power goal of ~250 for a stock b16 turbo?
is a peak boost kit over kill?
what size turbo is reasonable? t25 or t28?
What style manifold retains a/c?
Thanks

25o will be cake for a b16.. t28 would be fun on the street. and most log style manifolds reatain ac.. at 8-10 psi you could easyly make that power.. tune it on crome and get some injectors and you will be perfect..

I am doing basically that same set-up. Everybody says that it will be great on a stock b16 and that it can handle the power, especially at 250, the key is a good tune

greddy kit's not the worst in the world lol. Just change the oil lines. An edelbrock would be a good option as well. Or if you're feeling adventerous you can piece together a setup. Just find an efficient intercooler. Make your own charge piping. etc.

If I had a stock block B16, i would be opting for a T3/T04e 50 trim .63ar. There is such a thing as having boost too soon. You'll have traction issues with a really small, fast spooling turbo and also, a lack of top end. If you want a fun street car, get the aforementioned turbo or PM TheShodan about the GT3251e
