250+HP NITROUS NonVtec B18
After countless forums and a few times looking at threads here i'm planning on building a nitrous NonV Bseries. A lot of people use CP,Manley,Skunk2,Eagle, etc internals. Im planning on using either REV9 H-beam rods or YCP rods and Nippon ITR pistons. Yes i'm aware the rods are ebay, but they seem to be made with good material. As for the head i'm still doing some research as for what parts i'll use. I would like to know everyones thoughts and 2cents...

OP,
you will find the best info in the 'official nitrous thread' as far as bottom end mods to withstand +250 hp.
As someone who has used 120 shot in a non-vtec setup, i would suggest a few things:
1.11.5:1 or above compression/forged internals (of your choice)
2.A good EMS with nitrous control.
3.Cams, head work, or both to assist with flow.
4.A bigger fuel pump/injectors or both
5.A good tune/tuner
6.A bottle warmer pressure controlled, and a nitrous pressure gauge.
No feedback on those ebay rods, but it comes down to how much do you want to spend now, vs. how much you want to spend later.

Re: 250+HP NITROUS NonVtec B18
Thanks, much appreciated. Im trying to have my compression under 12 because the highest octane fuel we have is 91oct. Im planning on using a Walboro 255lph fuel pump and 450cc injectors. YCP rods are also the same brand that makes Vitara rods for Dseries, they're known to withstand over 20psi and 400hp. I'm leaning more on those. Thanks again!

id use super tech pistons 3cc dome piston shave a p8r head .020 to get the quinch area down. zero the deck to piston. arp stock rods should be enough rod. arp head studs. super tech 85lb springs crowler 404-405a cams, adjustable cam gears, gates blue timing belt. victor x intake or preformer x 68-70mm tb skunk alpha header or 1320 v2 with mega phone header your fuel set up should work id use rdx injectors. get a wet shot and do a multiport set up and you should be able to do 250s easy mite be close to 280 if you push it and can run enough timing. a bottle warmer set up is a deffent need as well. a 3" exhaust would be the way to go.

PPL still use nitrous? I had it once like 10 years ago it was fun just got sick of paying $50 after the bottle ran out in 2 passes.
Figured Turbo would be cheaper in the long run

Well man considering i'm not even old enough to drive and really no main source of income. I'd use nitrous just for occasionally. Turbo for me at the moment seems a bit hard, I do consider it though. Just for now a bottle for a few runs are good enough
