street car runs a little warmer than normal. what are low temp options in thermostat? the car is 650whp GE sleeved tuned open loop with AEM. this car does see the street. cant remember if this setup is pusher or puller fan, not my car he hee. and im tired
second. my car. track only, distilled water, water conditioner, runs warm also. my fault for letting get too high the other night in the lanes, but what about loosing the t stat and say "gutting it" and using it like a restrictor in say a v8 chev application? my car is a pusher style fan setup.

Can you go into your AEM and have the fan kick on earlier then. I think that will help . I used to always have my fans jumped where they stayed on constant BUT the AEM you can get it to kick in whenever I was told. Are you on AEM now or still Hondata Mikey?
Also if the fan is pusher style you have it on the front of the rad and not on the back right?

nah im still on hondata, s300 this time though. i can ask him if there is that option in the aem.
mine is jumped out too but if i am in open loop, it shouldnt matter.
and yes in a pusher style the fan is on the outside of the rad pushing air through instead of on the back side drawing it in.

I knew this, I was just making sure you did
When I put a slimline fan on a looong time ago I wired it backwards and of course it was pusher style BUT towards the front of the car when the fan was still on the backside and it got HOTT!!!!! Once I swapped it around(the plug) it was all good.
