Default 2.5" DP, worth it?

i have a d16z6 with greddy turbo kit. hondata. dsm 450's .3" exhaust with no cat. i have a 2" greddy dp. i am wondering if i have a 2.5" dp made, using same stock 02 housing.... will it really be a big difference? or is it only oing to be like 1 or 2hp? is it really worth like $ 100 or so? thanks

I would do it. With a turbo you really should have as free-flowing of an exhaust system as you can get if you want quick spool-up and maximum power.

yea, i know that.... but i just wanted to know how much of a difference the 2.5" down pipe would make vs the 2" . it is almost like running straight 2" dp now, cuz of the 3" exhaust and no cat. i am just tight for money seeings how i found out my tuning the hondata is going to be like almost $400..... figured if it isnt a big difference i would just skip that part and be able to run this setup sooner.

Oh, well in that case yeah I would put off the DP change and get the Hondata tuned first. That is certainly going to help more than going from a 2" to 2.5" DP.
