Hmmm 2.5" downpipe but no flange. What do I do? REVHARD 2C
Do I need to weld a 2.5 flange 1" away from the end of the downpipe to form a 2.5" collector? If I can get a 2.5" collector, the 2.5" doughnut gasket can fit perfectly from a type R header. The doughnut allows the downpipe and the CAT to move freely with out gas leaks. I still what to retain the header bottom mount. Just wanted to know, what others think? Is there other ways? Thanks.
