Default 1g bov question
my 1g bov seems like its not working. i have a good vacuum source. i just cant hear anything. Is the bov not loud?or you think the bov is opening up too slow

mine opens easily. It's loud at anything over 5 psi too. Can you push the piston in with your thumb? Maybe try to lube up the inside with some spray stuff. Make sure the vac/boost line is placed after the TB.

mine you can hear clear at 5psi...during normal driving condidtions...no more than 3200rpm

if i take mine close to 0 vac and get off the pedal i can hear it just whisper. anything in boost you can definitely hear clearly like a clean whoosh of air

but since im running open dp. the chances of me hearing are hard right. when i boost i cant hear it, maybe my open dp is the cause, think thats it?

yes... the 1g bov uncirculated is more like a sneeze than anything... your open dp prolly drowns the sound out.

I had the exact same setup, without the downpipe on I couldn't hear the BOV. Once I connected the downpipe the BOV was VERY loud. Sounds great.

you think its was loud before? because if i connect my dp on to my cat its gonna be very weak because i cant afford my exhaust yet
