Default 14B wastegate

Searched but no luck.

Can I replace the stock wastegate (remove it) and use an aftermarket one instead? TIA

if you want more boost out of it theres a place around that only sells dsm stuff that sells one that starts you up at 17psi. if you want to lower boost just shorten the rod on the wastegate, as far as putting an external one that ll be a biatch.

Yes. I did mean external.

I'm not looking to increase the boost. The turbo i'm looking at doesn't come with the stock wastegate. I'm thinking that it'll be better to just get something external so that i can adjust the boost later on if i want to increase it eventually.

a 14B Comes with a stock wastegate, infact I got mine with one the more exact code TD05H turbo. Try searching the web for DSM (diamond Star Motors) websites for parts new and used, try ebay as-well you never know what you can find.
