Default Is a 11.3 compression ratio too high for turbo?

I have jdm itr pistons in my gsr block with a mugen thin head gasket and a itr head.... I now want to go turbo, but I am unsure about running a turbo with this compression. I am new to Forced Induction please help.

It can be done... but with a good tune and low boost(under 15psi?).

Yes,but you have to admit it's not very practical. You can run NA on 9:1 but it wouldn't be my first choice.

I ran up to 7 psi on a stock 2004 S2000 before getting excessive knock (using an AEM EMS to tune).
