Re: 11:1 with boost
there's too many variables to give a straight answer. what turbo is going on there, whats done to the motor. tuning is going to need to be pretty precise. tuning for boost with high compression doesnt leave much room for error. 7psi with a t3 super 60 turbo vs 7psi on a t3 60-1 are two different worlds. dont base your goals off of psi, whats your power goals?

all stock other then the ported y8 head
garret t25 - it says a/r .80 m24 i dunno what model exactly
i want 200 hp as d15 rods cant go much past that, also i do like having a small turbo spools quick and fun to drive and if i can get more HP with less boost i am all for it (last build was about 9:1 comp with same turbo)

Re: 11:1 with boost
im thinking of doing the same thing only with a jdm d15b vtec head not the y8 and would it last long with a good tune? i get free tunes from this shop cuz i know the owner and get to use his stuff

Re: 11:1 with boost
7psi with a good tune on that t25 could be really reliable. I wouldn't suggest using that phearable basemap, id actually get your setup tuned in a shop since high compression setups dont allow a lot of room for error. Try getting a cam gear too to help tune out some overlap to keep you on the safe side. I think you can reach your 200hp goal with a larger diameter exhaust and chunk that stealth side intercooler for a front mount

Re: 11:1 with boost
that would depend on the tune and health of the motor. with good maintenance it should last quite a while. Ive seen boosted b-series type R's last for years on their stock CR
