Re: 10.5 compression (slowcrx954)
As you know, lots of turbo 'kits' are running 8-10 psi on engines with 10:1 comp. A number of them don't have very sophisticated engine management systems. Typically with this type of question, most of what I have heard is "Depends on the setup". It would be helpful to hear examples (setup, cr, boost level) whether or not the car is a daily driver and how long it has been running at that boost level.

Re: 10.5 compression (slowcrx954)
give a little more info. What bore size you planning to do?
10.5:1 is vague, the bore size can affect the piston design and compression.
an 81mm 10.5:1 will have a small dome vs an 84+mm which will be more of a flat top piston.
but as far as that compression, shouldnt be a problem as long as its fine tuned(like with any setup) We run over 30psi on our 84mm 10.9:1 motors.

thanks for the info and the car will be daily driven, and will have a standalone for the fine tune.also plan on turning down the boost when daily driving.and will be close to stock bore on a ls.
