Default an·a·lyze and help with my problem

some of you may remeber my recent thread when i was asking why my car sounded like a constant machine gun when i turned it on.

well i did a compression check and thats fine. then i thought it was b/c the downpipe or manifold was loose, but havent got a chance to check that out yet cuz im waiting for new plugs. i got my downpipe off and go an o2 bung welded into it so now i can run an o2 sensor hopefully that will help

the thing i did find out is that im running really rich and it blackened/foulded out my spark plugs. could that have been why the car sounded like that?

replace your plugs/clean them, fix your fuel problem and find out yourself. Do you have an audio clip of this noise?

If you are running too rich at idle, your car will sound like a "diesel" or a "machine-gun".

You can use carb cleaner and then, let them dry out a bit. That should do the trick. Damn rotaries foul up all the time..
