**READ** New weird oil filters (not HONDA brand) at stores.... pics
Ok here is the story... after hearing all that bullshit about smaller filters at honda, i've decided to look around Canadian Tire and other stores for any older bigger filters.... here's what's strange.
The BLACK filter is one i found from the old batch, this is the same size as the older honda oil filters as you can see from the pattern and measurements... i've verified the black one is the older one style.
Now the weird thing is, i suspect that Honda probaby will start telling other manufactuers or whatever to make the different small filters, but instead when i looked up the 92-00 civic i found this WHITE ONE....
now comparing to the other post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=655093
the white one doesn't look as small but it's definately different... can anyone tell me wtf is this filter doing like this?? it's surely not the same with more holes and slightly smaller.... it's also lighter and the holes inside the filter seem less dense.. the black one has more holes...
so what's going on.. is honda in canada here using these ones instead of the smaller ones in the USA?????? i gotta go to honda and check it out.... but the s2000 is still using the old ones right???? i wonder if they'll give me s2000 filters when i go oil change...

its not the exact same design.
anyways.
i dont even know if canada has been using these smaller filters yet.im not sure.
all i know is I go to the dealer and ask for 00 SiR ones and have been doing so for a while and the car still runs fine.
