Any advice on timing numbers? Im doing the tuning at the track Thursday but want to get somewhere in the ball park today on the street. I added 25 percent fuel to my flex map and pretty much got the af almost perfect.
First time tuning on e85 and of course 5 minutes after i filled up the tank my coolant line from the thermostat housing to the manifold sprung a leak.

Leave ignition timing alone until you get to the track. It will probably take 3-4deg more overall from 91oct, but every engine is different. I've had some engines not want ANY ignition timing change on E85/E70 versus 93oct to make the most power (very rare, but it's still happened).

93oct is like $2.96/gal at the moment here.

I haven't checked what the E85 price is at the station down the street... They don't have the price up on the sign but for reference 89 is 2.25 here.

Re: **OFFICIAL FORCED INDUCTION RANDOM CHAT THREAD**
Yeah, $100 is norm most places. Some have a minimum of 4 hours though. Usually it's $75 for 3 pulls if you don't want to rent per hour. I have seen $150 an hour, but it's not typical. Then again, cost of living is stupid high in California... a house you could buy for $100k here costs $600k there LOL!!!

Re: **OFFICIAL FORCED INDUCTION RANDOM CHAT THREAD**
I think it's 75 for 3 pulls around here for the general public. It pays to make friends with shop owners. If we give some heads up then on a slpw day with no dyno use we can show up and do whatever for how everlong until they have to use the dyno or we finish. That's just for one car though and typically involves buying the beer the next night out lol. Usually if we have 3 or more people who want to tweak/verify tunes then we will rent the dyno for a day so there's no interruption.
Strapping and unstrapping high hp cars repeatedly gets old pretty quick, not to mention the cars with aero take some clever strapping. If you've ever had to do this you know what I'm talking about.
Usually we use an AWD mustang eddy current dyno so we can sweep and hold a given rpm point the full throttle range to tweak and verify tunes. We use a friend's dynojet for initial tuning and such.
On a good note I got my employee member card today. Now if I can only get something running to get some seat time.
The bad news? 7 day work week... I have to be at Road Atlanta by 6:45 on Saturday to do trackside support for a NASA event. Luckily I only live 16 miles from RA which is 20 closer than work at AMP. Then I'm either at RA again Sunday stupid early or back at AMP since a group of newbies has rented the track for day and I know they'll need to buy things they forgot and having one person there would just be torture. I better get overtime lol

Road Atlanta, you say?
Wait, where are you located? I don't know why I just assumed you were in CA, but if you're in GA, you're just a couple states south of me. If you find yourself coming to VIR, you should let me know!

$100/hr is a pretty standard dyno rental fee.
We charge $100/hr for DynaPack rental, or $150/hr for AWD Mustang dyno rental here.

Insane shafts are super affordable and hard to kill from what I've seen. While the lifetime replacement parts store axles are dirt cheap you need to remember how much tune abd aggravation it's involved with breaking an axle, getting the car home, buying a new axle, replacing it, etc and then consider what your time is worth and what you could do with the time you save by not having to constantly change axles

I'm a HUGE fan of the OEM RSX-S axles on pretty much everything.
I used to blow the "32mm" axles apart on the 3-4 shift at 120mph all the time, and freak out.
