Well, not that I needed more reason to doubt HunterTuned, but here ya go:
******* 2023 and we still can't get away from this ****. These are the same people that ask "Hurrr why do Civics cost $15K now?" - Because they've all been ruined and molested by dipshits like this.

I'm not subscribed to Hunter or anything, just popped up on my home page.
I've seen that V6 AWD build before, and it's definitely awesome.
Agreed, AHC has some really nice builds and restorations. They have some good installation videos up as well.

Re: **OFFICIAL FORCED INDUCTION RANDOM CHAT THREAD**
The biggest problem is that most guys out there building legit cars going fast don't post how to videos. All the big shops with really fast cars typically sell people parts and post videos of their cars going fast down the track, but they don't show you how they do it, what parts they are using etc.
If people think that any of the fast guys out there are using block guards, ebay turbos, stock gearsets etc. are crazy. Guys that want to go fast and be reliable use parts that cost money, which 99% of Honda dudes don't want to do. The big names and fast cars know what they are doing and don't need to watch youtube videos to figure things out. The big name companies know this and their target clients are well established racers who know where to go when they want something good.
The unfortunate part is that average Joes who want more of a reliable street car are stuck with a bunch of Videos with catch phrases like "Cheap" "Budget Build" that leads them into the wrong direction. This leads into threads like "help my cars broken" and again you want see SpeedFactory chime in with potential fixes LOL. You will get tuner Dave to pop in and explain his street knowledge to you and how is eBay setup and parts works like a champ.

“Breaking records or breaking parts”
Ive watched a $40k motor blow up and 3 weeks later the car set a record.

Feeling choked for time lately. Home Depot pissing me off because they're always out of the hardware I need lol.
Got the condenser mounted in, I'll be adding one more flat bracket to the other side, there's also a bolt at the top. Looks pretty meh but it's functional. Still need to get the brackets remade for the intercooler and make another attempt at that, hopefully tomorrow.

Getting closer to getting this electric column to fit. I havent had to cut or weld anything just swap the spindle at the pinion.
Im going to have to shorten the lower shaft and fab a simple bracket to hold a stud for the electric motor.

I typically get my hardware from Ace but they are super expensive, bolts are like 2 to 4 bucks per. I actually just purchased this set from Amazon for both Metric and Standard Grade 8 bolts. Both kits together have almost 1000 bolts, nuts and washers.
For both kits it was like $300 bucks but this would probably be $1000 bucks at Ace.
The cool thing is they come in a steel box and are labeled for extra convenience.

I bought Grade 8 Standard, Grade 8.8 Metric for some of the lighter duty things and will be getting another Metric set but Grade 10.9. Just trying to build up an assortment of different fasteners for all types of projects for automotive and non-automotive applications.
I basically want to have what I need when I need it, instead of the back and forth trips to Ace LOL.

Mcmaster has surprisingly fast shipping. I get all my hardware from them. Lots of other stuff too.
More progress on the power steering. I thought you guys would be more into it. Is it a common thing to do or what???
Took apart the output shaft and made a nice cut at the base to shorten it and reweld. Itll fit in the exact same spot and be counter sunk.

I've seen people do the MR2 EPS conversions on our cars, but I don't think I've seen anyone do exactly what you're doing, at least on our chassis.
Tried to make new brackets today, failure. I won't have time until the weekend to tweak them, god forbid I have to buy another overprice freaking $20 bar of steel, pretty sure I'm going to have to. $60 in trial and error. I'm going to have to angle the brackets to get the intercooler to sit in the perfect position. Not in a great mood, overseas employees for my company keep doing complete retard **** that I have to clean up, which ends up getting the whole team involved because they're impacting ERP.

After taking some length out of the output i also had to cut down the input shaft to the pinion. No biggie. I should be able to test this tonight

Are there going to be any issues with the motor? It looks low under the dash, but it may just be because the rest of the dash isn't in.

Re: **OFFICIAL FORCED INDUCTION RANDOM CHAT THREAD**
I bit the bullet a few years ago, and was glad when I did. I was tired of paying other folks to weld things for me. I found a good used machine locally. With a gas bottle and supplies i spent about $1200. I hear ya on money money money. Now I want a horizontal band saw, finger brake, better sander, etc.

@Caoboy I dont use any of those panels under the dash.
Well im dumb. I had swapped the lower portion of the output shaft but forgot the prius doesnt use a universal joint like the honda. So i had to redo my work there and kept loosing damn needle bearings
I was able to test the power steering and it works perfectly just need one mount for the motor and connect three wires. I lost a good hr messing with that u joint.
Overall the prius column fits with almost zero work. Definitely a better option than mounting a reservoir with extra lines and fluid.
