************what tranny for t3/t67 on built b18 check my set up b4 purchase PLEASE************
I just came into some money and will be taking out a personal loan for the rest so I can finally finish my car I just wanted to double check my set up mostly tranny question
Engine:
LS b18 DART SLEEVED
Eagle Rods
Ross Pistons
Port Matched Head
1mm oversized valves
stock gsr cams
evolution cam gears
Full Race Intake manifold
Full Race stage 3 turbo kit (with t3/t67)
1000cc injectors
walbro 255
AEM EMS
MSd SCIL
competition clutch iron man clutch and flywheel
LS Tranny w/b16 3rd and 4th (quaife LSD)
looking to make daily driven 500hp
my biggest question is that i hear the t3/t67 is kind of a monster with some lag time. I'm affraid of falling out of boost after gear change. Will the gearset compliment the turbo well?
car will be primarily street driven and tracked on the weekends thanks in advance!

I have a T3/T67 H.O. on my 1.6L with a gsr trans. A gsr trans would be a good combo with the 1.8 and as long as you have some valvetrain you will be able to shift high enough that you wont fall out of boost.

you can swap out the gears. i belive the 1&2 from ls/gsr are the same. so you would just need to change the 3&4 to gsr and keep the LS 5th for highway driving
