anyone has a tuned bin for me to start off as a basemap?
stock b18c5 stock pulleys on motor and SC vortech v5 kit.
either crome or Neptune is ok.
I know its like looking for real parts on alibaba but I would be cool so I can test everything before taking it to dyno and have something fail and waste my time.

Don't have a map but where did you find one of these kits? Their rare but reason im interested is because I want to boost my lady's CRV in another year or so but not looking for huge power and want to retain AC.....also not big on JRSC's due to the heat soak that comes with them so the overall fitment of these SC's fits the bill
not bad at all...I paid 800 for a nearly complete kit back in 07 but sold it right back on Ebay due to a defective compressor wheel + money needed at the time so I never got to see what it could do on an LSV....I'm sure 250 whp would have been a reasonable target

It's very aggressive. I would back off like 8* ignition and fatten it up until you can tune it.
As a strong word of advice, tune this on a dyno, with knock detection.
Boosted ITRs are highly prone to knock, especially right after Vtec. If it's an option, use ethanol.

yea I got a chipped p72 ecu
and stock type-r obd2b ecu
hows the vortech fmu?
I have a full kit with liquid cooler and the fmu unit but I don't know if it came with any kind of ignition unit in the kit.
its gonna be richtuned I just needed something to drive on before dyno to make sure it works and not gonna give issues during tuning. I have a wideband and Neptune and demon so I can adjust if necessary
also is there a calculator for pulley size and boost?
im trying to figure out if I can manage to put the previa clutched SC pulley on this one so I can switch it on and off( its a daily driver I don't always need the sc ) I don't need a type-r dailiy either lol but u know. cuz every car is a race car. its a good start of the day when I can crack vtec on my way to work

I know about their webpage i already looked over the manuals etc. But forgot about the calculator.
Tried to contact them few times and no luck.
one more question
the shaft is welded where it connected together with whatever the nasa space probe contraption used to be at the gearbox input shaft
Can i use any other type of shaft coupling instead since the original parts are impossible to find?

That MSD dial is not part of the Vortech kit. Do not use the ignition controller. And do not use an FMU. You have a tunable ECU and larger injectors, you're good to go. On another note, you're going to need another MAP sensor since the stock Honda one only goes to 11psi.

how can I tell if it needs a rebuild?
bearings etc?
alot of these vortech kits that are for sale say they need a rebuild
do they make certain noise when bearings are bad? or wiggle test?
I know nothing about these
