Default tunning help!

Okay so I'm on a hondata s300. We got it to street tune and hit boost last night but when the vtec hits it pops but the airfuel ratio is reading 12.0 and it won't let me take it no more where the vtec hits. What can be wrong? Or is the vtec selenoid no good?

Where is your boost cut set?
Make sure your not hitting boost cut.

Also make sure your running the proper spark plugs & plug gap.

Okay last night I changed a new vtec selenoid and still does the same. I'm boosting 13 lbs and my boost cut is at 15 lbs and I'm also on some super cold plugs but their not gapped so you think that's my problem?

Im not sure I really understand what your problem is. Does the car just stop accelerating or is it stuttering? When you say the afr is 12.0 are you saying you cant adjust it? Yes the plugs not being at the correct gap can be a big problem, what plugs are you running and what is the gap at now.

Well it stutters. When the vtec hits which is at 5000 rpm then it just stutters like it doesn't want to go anymore. I'm running on NGK plugs but I didn't gap them. What's the gap for them?

You've gotta be offline to adjust your VTEC (high cam) map, it won't let you adjust it while you're connected. When offline you can adjust your high cam fuel/ignition map, then click the little up arrow to upload the adjust configuration then you can go back online to datalog/monitor it. I would say to gap them between .028 to .030.

Okay. Yeah for some reasons when vtec hits it stutters at 5000 rpm and won't let me tune the high cam. Is it the tunning that's making it stutter or something else?
