s300 with boost controll
In need of some help. Not too fimilar with the system yet as I just got it a couple months back. My tuner had put a 2 switch for pump gas. One for 13psi and one for 16psi. The switch came from my old manual boost controller so we just used that. Last week or so I was gettin on it a little and noticed its only going to 9psi and neither of my switches are set for that. I put it on the 16psi switch and still only going to 9psi. The turbo is fine, checked for boost leaks didnt find any. Didnt melt any vaccuum lines. I am going to check to see if the boost soloiend clicks to the 12v and if not does that mean its a bad solonied? I know this is a noob post but just figured I'd ask the professionals
thanks in advance

FYI: On the initial key on (ecu prime) the solenoid will click once.
If it doesn't you should use a multimeter to make sure one side of the solenoid is getting 12 volts while the ignition is switched on. The other side should run to the ecu's a11 egr pin. (Check for continuity).

If the solenoid doesn't click and the solenoid is getting proper 12 volts on one side and a proper signal from the ecu on a11 (confirmed via continuity check) then the solenoid maybe bad.
Not everyone has a scope laying around mr fancy pants! haha
If you have a low voltage bulb or led laying around wire one side to voltage and the other side to a11. A11 should provide ground pulses that cause the led to flash.

Thanks for all the help guys!! I put power to the 12v to the solonied and its working fine. I didnt check it gonig to the a11 however. I droped it off to synapse motorsport who did the work on the car and they will get her fixed for me! It has a 13psi spring in it and only goes to 8.7-9psi so sounds like the solonied might have gotten shut off?
