pull basemap from chip to laptop, can it be done??
I have a basemap from phearable on a chip and I want to pull the basemap data from the chip and put it on to my laptop so I can edit and tune phearables basemap. I have a burn2 chip burner. Can it be done?
i believe some chip burners work both ways. i would look into that. Does Phearable keep maps on file for some time after you purchase them? I had this same question a week ago and just ended up getting Xenocron to email me the basemap.
i was able to read and make changes on my friends phearable chip on free crome with a burn 1. not sure if they've changed there programing since then.
on burn1 you just click read chip then save buffer to file. open the file with whatever software you are using and edit it. i haven't used burn2 so it may be different.
most all universal chip programmers will allow you to "read"
you will have to open the bin with the same editor with which it was made.
