Default need Help doing the resistor fix for the O2 CEL???

Im trying to get rid of my CEL, code 1.
I've read of the resistor fix and tryed it myself but it didnt work for me so I wanted to see if I was doing something wrong. From what I read I just have to cut the wire at Pin A25 which is for the O2 Heater Power, then cut the wire at Pin A6 which is the O2 Heater GND and solder in a 20ohm 10watt resistor. Is this correct or is there more to it?

that may work if you have CEL41. (O2 heater)

CEL1 means you're O2 sensor signal is bad. Replace the O2.

I have both codes it switches from cel1 to cel41.
I've tried a new O2 and still have the code.
Im thinkin it could be the wiring. What kind of readings should I get when testing with a voltmeter?

0-1v on the signal wire with the car running.

So has anyone actually tried this resistor trick and had it work for them?
