Default Help! random codes thrown s300

hi names brent, got a boosted 98 prelude base, h22a4. all stock just a turbo kit, i do have a p28 ecu with hondata s300 v1. was driving all weekend and it was running prefect.! i went to go get a friend and i plugged in my laptop to make some adjustments and apparently i had Smanager already open and i clicked on the icon and it popped up that the ecu couldn't be used or something like that cause another smanager was already up and running. i didn't notice that but, i clicked okay and it brought up a red light on the ecu and the green light started flashing as another green light stayed solid. it started to show 4 DTC codes and i cant figure out how to clear them. i have the knock sensor disabled, but it showed that as a code and than vtec pressure and 02, water temp, but there was like 10 not just 4. it has never thrown a code before and i doubled check my wiriing i just have a conversion harness and haven't really messed with the engine bay, is there any possible way to reset the ecu completely? when i tried to make changes and up load onto the ecu it kept saying it failed try again. i have been tuning and running the data log for at least solid month now at least 3 times a week. i dont see why codes just randomly popped up after i accidentally tried opening smanager twice.

opening smanager twice is not an issue I have done it before, to clear the codes remove the battery for a few minutes.

I would suggest reset the codes and see if they come back or not

The s300 v1 has reached the limits of it's functional lifespan... they all should be upgraded to the newest version like NOW to minimize the issues that you are experiencing.

Well... I've thought about it, but another 600 isn't planned for me... Their shouldn't be anything wrong with the unit I have. And shouldn't need to buy another one... I'll try resetting it tonight when I get home and let you know the results, thank you.!

I don't think you understand...
1) it's only $380ish to upgrade to a v3 unit if you send in your v1 or v2.
2) electronics have a service life. you are at or near the service life of a v1. which means it will fail very soon if it is not already failing. but it seems it is already failing.
3) yes, it is very possible you v1 has problems that can not be fixed, and will require you to buy a new unit.
