Default Cel question, please help

Ok, my car has the check engine light on, and its running like ****. SoO I install the little jumper and try to read the code, well its not that simple. When I have the P-28 Hondata S-100 ECU in the light flashes steady every 3.5 seconds. When I put the OBD 2 DX ECU back in it just stays on.
Please help me, I am lost. I am so ******* tired of this god damned car and its problems that I am about to sell it to the first person with cash in hand!

When the light stays on, i'm pretty sure it means your ECU is toast, what code is it reading off the other ECU? count the flashes.

That's the problem, the flashes are all the same, same duration and same interval.
