HI guys im new. I bought a 92 civic hatchback yeterday. It has a B16 and tranny. Few things ive noticed it needs a fuel pressure regulator. My question is this. Ive noticed a small oil leak, but what I ve heard is the regulaor could be pushing to much pressure to cause a oil leak. If I do change this gasket is their anything else I should change. Pretty sure its the head gasket. Any info would be appreciated.

 

How are you running with no fuel pressure regulator? Where is the oil leaking from? Be more specific.

 

Their is one still on their but its bad or stopped up. I ordered a new one this morning. The oil leak is on the left corner right above the engine stamp.

 

Clean up the oil and see if it's not coming from the dizzy, vtec solenoid or cam plug.

Does it have a CEL? Check engine light

 

Its not the Vtec solidnoid and yes the check engine light is on. Drove it a few minuetes ago and it started running pretty bad. Ive ordered the part. Its not exactly the same regulator the top part of the nosel is not curved will this make a big difference? I pretty sure its the head gasket. Im going to change it is their anything else I should change. Also do yall know of anyone with a new or rebuilt head or what should I do I think the guy that had it ran it pretty hard stayed in vtec, will this hurt the engine.
