Default Haltech - K-series support / Plug and Play development

We are still not in our production phase for the units, but there is now a K-series car running on a direct plug and play Haltech Platinum Pro ecu. This is a direct plug in to the stock harness and replaces the stock ecu completely.

The unit we are testing at the moment was developed for an 05+ RSX-S, but an adapter harness is allowing us to run it in an EP3 at the moment. We plugged it in this morning and it started right up, we were surprised even ourselves! The unit has been tested in Australia, but this is the first US testing we have done, and I just wanted to share the info. The car is on the dyno as I speak.

I do not know cost of the unit yet, but it is projected to be between the retail cost of a sport 1000 and sport 2000 ecu, so between 1350 and 1700.

It will have at least 4 additional user definiable inputs and 4 user definable outputs, but I do not have an exact number at the moment. On board logging, usb communication, and dedicated CAN output for use with items such as the Racepak and AIM dashes.

We do not do any public sales, so this is not a for sale thread, just letting the world know what we are doing. There will be an alternative to Hondata now, and some competition is good for everyone. Keeps manufacturers on their toes and listening to their customer base.

If anyone has any questions, just let me know. I don't know all the specs yet, as it is not a final production version, but in due time, it will be.

Thanks for reading and for your input.

Our VQ35/350Z Platinum Pro ecu has quad cam control. It is the only ecu we have that is compatible with the VQ35 at the moment.

Awesome news! Now I won't have to make my own jumper harness.
I really like the new software!

Thanks!

We could use more cars for testing, so if anyone has an 02-04 or 05-06 rsx-s and is close to Lexington, KY, let me know!

Our engineers did a great job on the new software, I have to admit, though I am obviously biased, haha. Beats the pants off of our old dos based stuff, that is for sure.

Cool to see more on the market. Hopefully it will be competitive with a M400 setup for that price.
