Default ectune diy

just downloaded ectune, am i right in thinking its a free version like crome offers?. if so i cant seem to make a new basemap ?

everything is grey'd out exept "open".

anyone ?

no it's not like Crome free. Basemaps are non-free only, editing is non-free only. But free can datalog as well as load & view the maps... if you have all ready been tuned/setup with eCtune.

ah , understand now , thanks man!.

just got my new motor running on crome 1.2 (pretty old) but thinkin of switchin to ectune before goin to the dyno.

if your tuner can handle eCtune, it's really worth the switch.
If you're the tuner and on a tight budget (aren't we all), Crome 1.5.0 is pretty stable.

im quite capable of street tuning afr's and stuff so am just breaking the motor in, but when it comes to high rpm/high boost im gonna get it on the dyno.

im going to go ask the guy at the local dyno who is very clued up and ask him if he's used it. chances are he hasnt as im in the UK and seems alot of people just use standalones round here.

looks like there are alot of features in ectune.
