Default crome and distributor timing

simple question here hopefully ill get simple answer im reading up on tuning with crome and have been messing around with it for weeks now with car at 5psi no biggy my question is i read some places that you have to retard distributor timing to match the crome setup but dont u when u setup crome to pull timing for every pound of boost just leave distributor at zero and let crome do the work or am i thinking to far ahead (newer cars where ecu pulls timing not adjusted by distributor) thanks in advance for help

leave the distributor at the stock timing, your goal is to sync the timing with the software
