Default Target lambda on E85 (Cruise, Idle and Boost)

My tuner tuned my car for .87 last week (490whp). Doesn't this equate to a 12.78 a/f? Seems a bit lean to me. Is this okay for E85?

Thoughts?

Is .85-.9 for idle ideal, how about during cruise for max milage?

Thanks in advance

No one can tell me about lambda? Isn't this an easy question to answer if you know?

I was with the understanding that once the sensor is calibrated for the fuel used, you will still target the same AFR's as you would any other fuel. The math is already done once you change the fuel selection for the wideband. I am using Innovate products that allows this fuel selection, other brands may not have this. Basically, what I am saying is target 14.7 once you change the fuel selection in the software if you are using Innovate products.

Im using a prologger. Ill see if it can show "standard" a/f. Are you saying 14.7 for idle or cruise? I thought people run 15.x cruising...

Turbo church is right,

If you have it set on normal gas it should show 14.7 ish at cruise then if you run E85 without the sensor changed your 12.x value would be the same as 14.7 for normal fuel. so with that said

all it does is skew the values so your not having to compensate for when its lean or rich it just displays 12.x as 14.x on your AF gauge.

Wikipedia has some articles on stoichiometric values for different types of fuels.

Hope this helps!
