Default back fire during shift is this normal

i got my car tuned. It runs flawless. I drive it around on the street at 8psi. My afr is 11.5 to 12.0. when i full throttle tacking allway to red line it will pop between shifts will this mess up my engine. I also have 2.5 down pipe and no exhaust. also at night you can see a flash

What system are you tuned with?

If it has ignition cut you might be hitting the limiter in between shifts which might cause a little pop between shifts.
