b18c4 tune
Hello everyone,
I want to tuned my car on crome pro. Ive just tuned my ECU - p06, added vtec and socket for memory chip. All is working with Easy RTP.
My setup is stock b18c4 with b16a2 intake manifold + CAI and 440cc injectors from rx8, exhaust is 2,36'' with Toda exhaust manifold + hybrid gearbox s9b/s4c and light flywhell - 4,9kg - 10,8lbs
I have a question about tuning in crome. What base map i should use? I thinking about ITR map p72 on p30 code. Its a such setup like in stock ITR. Other base mape what i can use is b18c1 - its a simillar engine b18c4 but its produce for USDM. I see one problem with b18c1 map because petrol in US is other than in Europe and its can be problem. In Europe standard petrol is 95-98octane in US 89-92 right ?
I havent oscilloscope, if i change ignition 5-7% over the map it will be safe? 7% is ~ 2'' on the hi rev and 1,5'' on the low rev.
