Default B16 Swap problem

I currently have a 98 Honda civic hatchback my buddy sold me his b16 from his 2000 si. I swapped it in my car and now i have problems the when im hooking up my ecu only there is only two plugs that actually go in my ecu. My car starts and runs but the problem is my radiator fan wont turn on and my cluster odometer and rpms dont work. has anybody had this problem before and what can i do to fix it. Also this may sound dumb but as this is my first time with a honda need to ask. How can this car be bled meaning in engine coolant.

you can't use the b16 harness unless you swap the plugs at the ecu.

You would need to convert the ECU and distributor plugs to OBD2B, as your 98 should be OBD2A. You're using the ECU from the 2000 right?

Or convert to obd1 for more mods/tuning purposes down the road.

Get an ECU adapter from Rywire or Xenocron or whoever makes them. I'm pretty sure there is also a difference in distributor plugs though I could be wrong. This could explain the RPM issue though if the wiring isn't correct.
