Built LSVTEC oil pressure issues

Built LSVTEC oil pressure issues
1500 miles on engine now, broke engine in, no issues till now a year later.
I have a fully built lsvtec that the oil pressure gauge all of a sudden stopped reading any pressure. It's an autometer gauge.
I was driving, stopped, confirmed no leaks, saw oil in line and proceeded home. Vtec was still working.
I have confirmed the lines not clogged, it does have a lack of pressure.
The turbo feed is supplying oil to the turbo, the head is getting oil from sandwich plate.
I disconnected the oil pressure gauge line at brass fitting off of stock oil pressure sensor location, and oil shot up.
Before I pull the pump(modified type r pump, cant remember brand right now, wasnt cheap ****.) any other ideas?
Oil light is hooked up and doesn't come on as well.

Re: Built LSVTEC oil pressure issues
Sounds like your auto meter gauge just stopped working. If vtec is still engaging and your stock oil light is not on then you still have oil pressure. Does your stock oil light still come on when you turn your key on, then go off a few seconds after you start it? Maybe put a new oil pressure gauge in there before you even think about tearing into it.

The oil light comes on at start up and goes away.
I started the car with the oil pressure gauge line off at the gauge and it came out steady but not a good pressure spraying, which has me worried.
I'm not gonna drive it anymore till this gets resolved, I guess I'll start with ordering a new pump. When I pull the pan I can inspect the pickup and go from there.
I'll update post

I would test your autometer guage with air pressure and check the feed line to the guage for kinks before pulling the oil pump.

Unless you just feel the need to rip all that stuff off, buy a manual oil pressure gauge and check oil pressure. If your valvetrain is quite and you turbo has not self destructed your probably good.

Like mentioned, if you had zero pressure for any length of time, your engine would be clicking and clacking and would self destruct in very little time. Im suspecting the gauge at this point just from what youve described so far...Or a kink in the line.
