Default B18c5 need headgasket 82m work

Hey I bought a b18c5 from a guy online was fresh rebuild with cp low compression pistons and arp head and main studs all new gaskets and oem headgasket was all the ad said. After 1500km there's a leak near the b18c5 badge. I'm finally gonna get it replaced but will the cosmetics street pro 82mm headgasket work for this? Some places say will work other say nothing. I just saved for a gates belt and arp head studs just incase there not in there but my mechanic buddy said get a head kit just incase and it's a whole kit so would be best. Thanks Rob

So do you think it will work yhe other way also. Stock 81mm pistons with a 82mm headgasket. It's the cometic Street pro top end gasket set. Thanks

^^^^ exactly. the oil leaks from above and thats the first place you can visually notice it collecting. in the 15 years ive been doing the honda thing ive only seen a bad headgasket have external oil leaks a few times at most.

id avoid the cometic if possible. use a je proseal, golden eagle or any other oem based gasket. make sure your head studs are in good condition and use 3 steps to tq them, with the 3rd step having the biggest increase in tq, ie 25-50-80 ftlbs
