Default how to separate tranny from the motor

i've just recently got done removing the motor along with the tranny from the chassis. now my question is that how do i separate tranny from the motor. i took a few pictures from the recent work to show you guys what i'm working with atm.

As you can see here the engine and tranny is sittin' nice and soundly on a crate ready for separation.

the oil pan and everything else has been removed also to show what is left to work on with.

I think he's forgetting the bottom bolt for the starter, it goes all the way through.

unbolting from motor? as in removing all the bolts that's holding motor and tranny together? if that's the case then the answer is "yes".

no, that bolt has been removed also already. i got another question for ya. what do you normally use to separate those 2 parts with once all the bolts has been removed? do you use a rubber mallet or something more hard hitting like a hammer?

No hammer necessary. A pry bar at the most.

Yes, you can pry it apart with the crankshaft in the motor.

take the mid shaft out of the tranny. You're causing unnecessary stress on the bearing right there. It slides right out.
