Will alignment fix my problem? Anybody here do it at all?
Yeas Veilside an alignment will fix your problem. Your toe got out becasue you exerted too much lateral froce on the suspension which wasn't designed to travel that direction. Yes some people on this board do drift. some for sport, some for fun, some to prevent going off track....some to avoid small animals on snowy roads....

I'm sorry it took 4 pages of posts to answer such a simple question...but boys will be boys.

You guys have been hoodwinked!

The $1000.00 challenge was ny far THE coolest thing I've ever read on any MB. CLASSIC. I'll say that you guys are THE hardest core and most serious bunch of all the net from what I've seen.

This Takume is OBVIOUSLY ******* with you guys. He offered NO real proof of who he was , or anything. You guys kind of just accepted that he might even be from Japan and that he can actually drift.

I can't decide which is funnier. The blatent lies from him, or some of your excellent logical arguments against him. VERY good arguments guys - I'll never mess with any of you guys.

Later! I would have been at VIR, but I sold my car New car will be done soon though, and I'm in ATL, so some Road Atlanta track days will be in my future.

Default drifting...

- drifting requires complete car control skills, the driver is in full control of car motion and dictates where the car goes

- drifting is the FASTEST way to enter any corner. exit speed is another story.

- on a given dry circuit, drifting would be slower than minimal sliding. however some situations drifting might be faster, like if you have a RWD with monster power, you WILL power slide. ever seen that JUN Supra power drift clip??

- FWD drifting is STILL drifting, FWD you just have few tricks to do drifting. it can be argued it's harder/easier to drift FWD vs. RWD depending what angle you look at.

- if driving in unknown roads i bet the drifter will beat a regular road racer. because drifters have much better car control (they're used to it)... RR only driver will likely crash when the road suddenly changes.

- rally drivers are the best drivers for real world conditions.
