i will be leaving tomorrow after work to las vegas drag strip for the midnight mayhem test session. since psca racing is throwing a venue out there, it should be prepped very well as it always is. i have 3 trannys i will be testing, they do look really promising! the first one is a stock gsr with 3.07 first, next is a 4.785 final gear set, with 3.07 first and ls gear sets 2 through 4. and the last of the bunch will be a b16a2 trans with a 4.05 final, 3.07 first and factory 2 through 4.

they are all within a couple of mph of each other, but the main focus of the test is to see how well they can hold up to the beating i can give since i always have a thing about breaking.

best for last! the 4.05 mfactory will be much easier on the trans from what i was told. also since its a forged piece its much stronger then the average ring gear from honda. i want to try and abuse them as much as possible and will be giving a detailed report about the test session for everyone to see. i dont know if i have enough time to do all of them fri but i am willing to stay the weekend as well to get it done.

I would be more concerned about the low mph. I've seen SI's with I/H/E go 93mph. With a 11.5:1 LS/Vtec, I would expect a bit more than 93mph traps.
