ok here it the deal my current set up is noted in my sig, im running a stock si trans, feels good no problems at all. the thing i notice is when i race, i feel like after second gear if im not ahead then im not catching them. i feel like im just running out of gear i guess. i have an extra trans sitting around thats out of a 99 gsr. im wondering if the gsr trans will give me that extra top end pull that im looking for. every one tells me that the si trans is better for the 1/4 mile but im not sure with my set up. i also heard that the diff on a gsr trans is stronger then the si. some how i feel that the gsr trans would be better off all around on my set up.
any imput would be apreciated

If you are not catching up is because you are not accelerating enough. Shorter gears = better acceleration. GSR has longer gear ratios compared to a B16. Do the match or try witching your tranny and compare your time slips
