Dear god, I just got done watching the episode for the first time IMO that was the WORST episode of Pinks I have ever seen..........dont get me wrong, I give the guy props for putting his car on the line and everything, but wouldnt you want to be fully prepared when your racing this thing for pinks??? One, I dont think I have seen ANY other cars on an episode of pinks running street tires. Like everyone has already said, he should of ran slicks the whole time. Two, he should of spent a little more seat time in the car, or at least have someone else drive who knew how to decently drive the car. Third, asking for that many cars is gonna make the domestic guys that much happier I wouldve like to have seen a better driver, with slicks, better negotiations, and less excuses and it wouldve made a great episode, even if the they didnt end up winning in the end. I hope that NEXT season, they do another import vs domestic showdown, and the outcome will show a good representation of what the import community is about.
Cant wait to see the Full Race, and Hasport episodes

 

hopefully imports will be better represented in future shows...

So what is the setup on the car? what suspension, turbo, internals, etc.....

 

why try to drive a turbo car if you can't even launch in a stock car?? your clutch was burning like crazy.

I'm absolutely flabbergasted that the producers of Pinks would allow a 20 year old punk with no experience in drag racing (or any kind of driving for that matter) represent the first import on such a popular TV show. I think they dropped the ball big time here. Those kids didn't have a clue! I'm also pissed they let him buy the car back for $300... Pinks my ***! What a bunch of horse **** this show is!

they are all wearing competition clutch logo shirts, and he was complaining that his clutch was "gone"..I don't think that's the publicity CC had in mind?..

and for the record, the car wasnt making boost the first couple passes, otherwise it would have been a diff ballgame. im not saying john would have ended up winning, but the car would have performed much differently.

Too ****** funny guys. Damn, how phat would it have been had a REAL import been on the show tonight? Like a bonafide 9 or 10 second Civic or DSM maybe? It's not that tough... There are hundreds of them out there. Would have made for such an awesome show, but instead we were subjected to this 15 second inconsistent cry baby loser with every excuse in the book civic bullshit.

Did you guys read the thread on the camaro forum where the owner of the F-Body talked about the show? Supposedly the kid with the Civic was crying after he lost his car and had to go to the hospital for a nervous breakdown...

Props that you were on the show. Sucks that it was such a misrepresentation of how Import Racing is like... I do hope that you improve on your driving skills and may re-appear on Pinks with a better showing...
