Default o-ring head

Anyone have any success o-ringing a h22 head?i have a gasket issue and i have o-ringed blocks before but never a head. Anyone have any info?

if you do o-ring, do the block, that makes it much easier to surface the head if it's ever needed.

On our drag motors the only thing we did was o-ring the head. Also used the stock head gasket with copper coat and stock head bolts.

ever use 90mm with a bored factory?

i never tried it with 90mm bore

when i had 90mm bore i was using copper head gasket with SS o-rings

For 90mm bore

the oem headgasket will be to small for 90mm bore , but if u have a h22 get u a cometic gasket

when you had the 90mm was the oring in the head or block?

head with the darton sleeves the bore was to close to put in in the block safely

but i had bad luck with the 90mm bore with any thing over 15psi , headgasket kelp leaking in boost going in the over flow tank but i do run 10:2.1-10:5.1 comp

i see, the bore being to close is my issue too, but i'm NA on methanol, so i think if it was good for 15lbs it should be good for 0psi on meth. hopefully
