Hey, i have a 97 ex and i want to swap the motor. I'm thinking of just doing a full GSR swap. I've done alot of research and im still wondering about what parts will be needed to complete the swap. If anyone has a detailed list of all the parts needed for a b18 swap (minus motor and trans) please let me knowq

 

motor, trans, Si mounts and axles, Si shift linkage or mod the existing shift linkage. What year motor are you using? I can tell you what you need to do to the harness.

 

why would you need SI stuff when you are using a non Si motor? Im new to this so im probly wrong. Im using the stock d series.

 

the Si stuff is needed to install a b series into an ek body.

 

so what is required to be done to the harness? Can the stock ECU still be used?

 

You will want to use a obd1 b18c1 with a p72 ecu. An obd2 motor would be easier but the obd1 p72 is superior.
