Im new to racing from a start, I need some help on launching my car from a dead start, What are other peoples technechs. I have a acura gsr, and once I lose traction and the turbo and vtec are at full I burn 1st and 2nd gear and go no where fast. I have yokahama prada 2 tires are these good? Whats everyones technecks.

I've never launched a turbocharged car before so I can't help in that department. *Although my bro offered me a drive in his 359 whp hatch I passed it up*

But if you are looking to buy traction bars, buy a set of slicks first. Not sure what kind of power you're making to recommend a tire size for the slicks but just search around the archives a bit.

EDIT: Scratch that... I have driven a turbo car at the track - SRT4. That thing was a whole nothing ball game than a Honda though. Cut a 2.1 60' first time out having never driven one before.
