Default Intake Air temperature

How do you cold your Intake Air temperature between each Run?

Some guys use these big Fan?

Is it really useful?

What is your intake temperature?

I add ice, but I'm sure that doesn't help you. I have yet to see charge temp over 88deg F even when it's 90+ outside at full boost.

Those fans just help heat soak a little, they don't really change the temperature of the air going into your motor as it goes down the track

Electric water pump and leave it on in the pits. You would have to have a switch for the fan to stay on as well.

a2w ic and put ice every run

getting high 50s F @ idle. when its 90 outside. iat is in manifold.

Thank you for your advices

I Understand that a watercooler with Ice in the tank will be the best but I use an Intercooler and looking for a solution to cold my air temp.

Compressed CO2 is cheap if you want to cool between runs, nitrous works better spraying on the intercooler while racing.

I've seen these fans sometimes in pits.

you can also use CO2 I used it before when I had a ntercooler sprayer. and I set it up on a switch that I could activate anytime I feel.
